Attendance
When a student is absent from school, parents are expected to report their absence to the school office, the Attendance Line, or by sending us an email.
If a parent/guardian has NOT notified the school of their student’s absence, the parent/guardian will receive a text message and an email from the school. This message will be sent to the parent/guardian's cell phone and email addresses, letting them know that their student is noted as having an unexcused absence for the school day. In this message, the school will ask parents/guardians to call the school attendance line or respond to the text in order to clarify the reason for the student’s absence.
